Eastbourne Rugby Football Club is excited to announce our first Big Weekend of Rugby, a family-friendly event spanning two days filled with activities, music, food and of course, rugby!

Join us on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September for this open event where everyone is welcome!

No matter your connection to rugby, everyone is invited...
• If you love rugby, come down and enjoy the matches and festivities.
• If you used to love rugby, come down and reconnect with the sport.
• If you know nothing about rugby, come down and discover the excitement!

Enjoy the activities and rugby, chat to club members and players and find out more about what our club has to offer. Men’s and women’s teams, adults, youth and minis - there really is something for everyone!

Saturday 31st August
The festivities kick off on the Saturday with a jam packed day of thrilling rugby matches, a raffle, games, bouncy castles, delicious food including a cake stall run by players from our women’s team, an open bar and music.

12:30pm: Eastbourne RFC U16s vs Eastbourne College U16s
3:00pm: Eastbourne 1st XV vs Shoreham 1st XV (Main Pitch)
3:00pm: Eastbourne 2nd XV vs Shoreham 2nd XV (Martin’s Field)

Raffle will include prizes from some amazing local businesses all supporting our weekend, including Sportswise, Hydro hotel, Gun brewery, Middle farm, Urban jump, Buzz active, Madeira Windows, Brewers Decorator Centres and many more!

Sunday 1st September
On Sunday, the focus shifts to the younger generation with Registration Day for the Minis (U6s-U11s) and Youth (U12s-U18s).

From 10:00am to 12:00pm there will be registration, training sessions and similar fun activities from Saturday, including games, bouncy castles, food, drink and music.

This is a perfect opportunity to introduce your children to rugby. Whether they are seasoned players or trying it for the first time, they are sure to have a fantastic time.

Fund the Fortress
Throughout the weekend's activities, ERFC will be raising money for Fund the Fortress to raise funds for essential repairs and improvements to the clubhouse and facilities. All proceeds from the event will go towards enhancing the rugby experience for players and supporters in our community.
